Established in 1999, Fry Magazine Limited is the leading trade publication for the fish and chip shop sector, delivering up to the minute news, views, comment and product pieces to over 10,500 fish and chip shops daily via our website and monthly in the form of our printed publication. From interviews with leading friers and shop owners, to reviews on the latest piece of must-have equipment, to top tips on how to run a better business, we have it covered.

We also run a highly successful trade show which each year is attended by hundreds of shop owners, decision makers and staff members looking for ideas to take their business forward. 

In addition, in 2012, we launched our very first competition – 50 Best Fish & Chip Takeaways, a nationwide search to find the fish and chip shops that stand out head and shoulders above the rest based on food quality, customers service and appearance. With more than 500 shops now vying for the title and the industry going from strength to strength, we have since grown the awards to encompass two further categories – 10 Best Fish & Chip Restaurants and 10 Best Mobile Operators.
