Burger chain donates half a million school meals
Byron Burger has donated 500,000 meals in the last 12 months to children living in poverty through its partnership with the charity One Feeds Two.
Since October 2015, the burger chain has been donating 25p, enough to fund a school meal for children living in some of the poorest places in the world, for every 'special' purchased.
It has now given away enough meals to get 2,631 children through school for a year, feed the population of Edinburgh or feed a fully seated Wembley Stadium five and a half times over!
One Feeds Two is a young innovative charity that aims to support children living in some of the poorest communities in the world by providing a nutritious school meal so they won’t go hungry. By helping children get an education, it believes they will be on the way to helping raise their community out of poverty.
Byron Burger first launched in London in 2007 and now has over 70 outlets across the UK.
