P&G Professional is teaming up with Fish & Chip Shop of the Year winner The Cod’s Scallops to help chippies address concerns surrounding staff and customer safety.
John and Helen Molnar, who own the Nottingham-based business, will be working with P&G to launch the CleanPlus Experience initiative, which includes a series of training materials and advice, as well as digital and printed materials that help a business showcase their cleaning standards to customers.
The partnership commences this month, as hospitality businesses slowly reopen across the UK.
Speaking of the partnership, John and Helen say: “Now more than ever, fish and chip shop owners must recognise the importance of hygiene and everyday-preparedness for infection control. As the industry begins to reopen, we must all take the practical steps to instill customer confidence, it’s critical to have the right tools, training, and cleaning products at your staff’s fingertips We are delighted to be partnering with P&G Professional to share our expertise in this area and use their trusted brands like Fairy Professional and Flash Professional to clean and disinfect our restaurant.”
Over the next 12 months, P&G Professional will also continue its partnership with the National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF), providing training, insights and products to help ensure shops are properly cleaned and disinfected throughout the UK.
