Deliveroo reveals Britain’s spiciest towns

To mark National Curry Week, which kicks off today, Deliveroo has revealed which cities across the UK like their vindaloos knock-your-socks-off hot, and which prefer their creamy Kormas.

Cardiff stole the top spot as supreme spice city in Britain with renowned curry capitals Birmingham and Glasgow falling into third and sixth place. 

Top curry dishes ordered in the Welsh capital captures their fiery food habits - featuring vindaloos, phalls and jalfrezis - choices for the braver tongues and tummies.

The crown for the UK's mildest city goes to Coventry with the most ordered Indian dish on the app being a side of mint sauce. Other top dishes range on the creamier side of the spice spectrum with butter chicken and korma as city favourites.
