
Fish and chips on Brits’ 2020 bucket list

Eating fish and chips at Land’s End in Cornwall has ranked among the top 50 most popular activities to make Britons 2020 bucket list.
According to research conducted by hotel chain Travelodge, 53% of British adults made a New Year’s resolution to start a UK bucket list in 2020. The average Briton’s UK bucket list consists of 22 experiences and will take around nine years to accomplish.
Seeing the Northern Lights, taking a trip on the Jacobite and enjoying afternoon tea at The Ritz all topped the list, followed by experiencing the summer solstice at Stonehenge and exploring the Scottish Highlands.
Indulging in world famous foodie treats are also on a majority of people’s bucket lists it seems with Britons wanting to dine at Gordon Ramsey’s Michelin star restaurant, indulge in traditional cream tea in Devon and eat pasties in Cornwall. Trying haggis in Scotland, eating Scouse in Liverpool, going for a curry on the Curry Mile in Manchester, eating fish and chips at Land’s End and drinking scrumpy in Somerset all made the list too.
