Seafish is inviting fish and chip shops to take part in a short online survey to help shape its business to business (B2B) marketing activities and support the industry.
Many projects normally run or supported by Seafish have been heavily impacted during the global Covid-19 pandemic. This has included the postponement of the annual National Fish & Chip Awards, the Seafood Restaurant of the Year Competition, the hosting of the UK Seafood Summit, and also attendance by Seafish at a number of consumer-facing seafood festivals.
In light of these postponements, Seafish is looking at its calendar of events and appraising ways in which it can continue to support the industry in a world where the format of ‘real world events’ has changed considerably.
With a duty as a public body to find the most effective and efficient way to deliver benefits to businesses, Seafish is seeking the views and thoughts of fish and chip shops. The feedback will be collated, along with that from across the seafood sector, and used to determine its approach to B2B marketing and activities, subject to available budget and resources.
The survey closes at midnight on 30th April 2021. All submitted responses to the survey will be confidential.
