JJ customers can save up to 30% by collecting their orders

JJ Foodservice is offering savings of up to 30% when customers collect their orders in a bid to reduce pressure on UK HGV drivers.

The wholesaler has launched a campaign called Collect & Save to remind customers about the benefits of collection as the UK struggles with a shortage of drivers.

It kicks off with Diet Coke priced at £5.99 for 24x330ml when you buy five cases or more for collection, the equivalent of 25p per can. This compares with £7.49 for less than five cases for collection or £8.79 for delivery.

JJ’s click and collect service is available seven days a week across 11 UK branches and customers can place orders using the website or the company's new, faster mobile app.

Customers who collect usually save up to 15% on the delivery price. This will increase to up to 30% when five cases or more are bought on selected products.

New products will be promoted every week, with the latest available to view here:

JJ’s chief product officer Sezer Ozkul explains: “With the nation currently short on HGV drivers and new customers coming to us weekly, we need to make sure we have the support in place to maintain our high service levels."

Deliveries are still available for a minimum order of just £79 + VAT.

The wholesaler is currently recruiting drivers across the UK with an inclusive recruitment campaign designed to help HGV driver roles appeal to more women.
