JJ Foodservice's latest campaign promotes British produce to support British Food Fortnight, which started on September 19th 2020.
The Made in Britain campaign includes deals on locally sourced products, including UK fresh lamb from just £9.99/kg which usually costs up to £18/kg in the supermarkets*.
Describing its fresh UK beef and lamb as “chef quality”, chief product officer Sezer Ozkul goes on to say: “Locally-sourced food is better for the environment and the economy.
“British beef and lamb are also produced to some of the highest welfare standards in the world.
“That’s why we are keen to work with more local producers in the future.”
Available now on the JJ website is a ‘Made in Britain’ range of food and drink products.
JJ has also launched a Guide to Celebrating British Food Fortnight to help restaurants and caterers to participate in the event.
