KFE has its first open day of 2020 this Sunday (2nd February) and who better to headline the event than the newly crowned Fish & Chip Shop of the Year winner John Molnar?
The owner of Cod’s Scallops in Nottingham will be talking about sustainability and how to utilise different species of fish, topics he will go into in greater depth when he is joined by Garry Rosser on Tuesday 11th February to host a one day course for KFE entitled ‘Expand your Menu’.
Having just handed over the trophy to John, Tim & Kelly Barnes of Krispies will also be on hand this Sunday to talk winning awards, launching a delivery and click and collect service, and taking on apprenticeships.
They too will be hosting a new training day later in the year at KFE’s School of Frying Excellence headlined ‘Future Proofing your Business’.
The event, which runs from 11am until 3pm, is free and all attendees will have the opportunity to test fry the Kiremko high efficiency frying range and meet the KFE sales team as well as key industry suppliers.
