KFE’s commitment to customer service has earned itself a prestigious local business award.
The range manufacturer has scooped the Best Customer Service Award at the Peterborough Business Awards in recognition of the continual improvements it makes to offer customers the best possible after sales experience, as well as its support to the industry as a whole.
Speaking after the win, Tanya Henderson, KFE sales manager, said: “This is the first year KFE have entered any awards, our time is normally spent supporting and promoting our own customers and their success. However, we thought it would be great to pit ourselves against other, non-related, businesses and for our own team have the opportunity to be recognised for the hard work and efforts they continue to put into all they do.
“Over the past year, KFE have invested heavily in our service department which has, for a long time, been acknowledged as the market leader with a team of nine employed and fully qualified engineers. But we are constantly investigating ways to offer an even better after sales package. In 2017, we have expanded our service support in Scotland by signing an exclusive arrangement with Fry Tech, introduced a new service contract and the option to pay for service contracts by monthly direct debit. All to give KFE customers a fantastic after sales experience.”
This year also saw the first KFE On a Mission, a charity fund raising event which brought the industry together and helped improve fish and chips all whilst raising over £13,000 for the Fishermen’s Mission.”
Last month KFE was also a finalist in the Service Excellence category at the Midland Family Business Awards, which recognise family businesses throughout the regions of the UK.
