Krispies Fish and Chips in Exmouth, Devon, has teamed up with a local tourist attraction to host a Fish and Fizz Cruise on National Fish and Chip Day.
The award-winning chippy has linked up with Stuart Line Cruises, which has just been named the best Small Attraction in Devon, to run two cruises, taking in the River Wye and Exmouth seafront. The two-and-a-half-hour round trip will see guests enjoy a glass of prosecco before tucking into a portion of Kripsies fish and chips.
To add to the celebrations on Friday 7th June, the chippy will be offering the first 100 people through its doors a goodie bag, which includes a chance to win tickets to the September Fish and Fizz Cruise.
The two family-run businesses are also marking the day with a Pay it Forward scheme whereby for every portion of fish and chips bought, both Krispies and Stuart Line Cruises will gift a portion to the Salvation Army, Open Door Centre and Exmouth Friends in Need whilst stocks last.
Kelly Barnes, owner of Krispies, said: “Exmouth has always been a beautiful part of the world, with great places to eat and plenty to do all year round. It’s fabulous for both of us and our teams to be recognised with these award-winning titles and we hope it will continue to build of the success of the town.”
Jake Stuart of Stuart Line Cruises added: “It has been an amazing year for Exmouth, and our awards continue to build on the town’s reputation of being a remarkable place to live and an incredible travel destination. We’re really pleased to be able to join Krispies in celebrating our successes and sharing them with our community that has supported us along the way.”
