Fry Magazine is launching the UK’s first online exhibition for the fish and chip and fast food sector this June


Imagine an exhibition where you don’t have to give up your entire Sunday to attend. An exhibition which you’re not required to travel miles for, drag the whole family along to, or trudge the aisles for hours in search of that all-important new product. Instead, imagine a show that you can access from the comfort of your living room, while standing behind your range, or simply as and when your quiet times take you.


That’s exactly what we’re bringing you as we move from a traditional exhibition to our new, innovative, virtual 3D event - The Fish Frying & Fast Food Online Show.


How will it work?

The Fish Frying & Fast Food Online Show will open from Monday 10th June to Wednesday 12th June and will host an extensive range of fully interactive 3D exhibition stands. Accessible to shops across the UK, owners, managers, friers, counter assistants, in fact, the whole team, can visit anytime simply by logging on from a laptop, tablet or mobile phone. Via a user-friendly interface, you can then head straight to the zones that interest you, for example, “equipment” or “delivery”, make a beeline for a particular exhibitor, spend a few moments watching a demonstration on fish cutting in the seminar zone or peruse the halls and simply see what you discover.


When visiting a stand, you’ll be able to chat with exhibitors via live message or video, ask questions, watch video content, request a callback and even download brochures and literature to a virtual event bag. And don’t worry, if you like leaving an exhibition with samples, deals and freebies, you can download these to your event bag too and have them delivered directly to your shop. No more wandering the halls laden down with boxes, bags and bottles!

Organiser Reece Head comments: “Moving our show online brings all the benefits of a traditional show but without the drawbacks. For example, visitors are no longer restricted by geography or time constraints, they can attend whenever and however many times they wish. So, you could be a shop in Edinburgh, talking to an exhibitor in Kent, networking with a chippy in Cardiff, while watching a video on fish cutting, all without leaving your four walls.
