Pork meatballs gain Red Tractor accreditation

Frozen food distributor Central Foods has relaunched its popular KaterKing Prime Pork Meatballs after the product achieved Red Tractor accreditation.

The Red Tractor logo provides added assurance that the food originates from a trustworthy and traceable source – signalling high standards of welfare and food safety and hygiene. It is the company’s first product to carry the assurance.

The KaterKing Prime Pork Meatballs, which are supplied ready-cooked, can be used in a range of dishes such as topping pizzas, filling sub rolls or as part of tapas sharing-style platters.

They are free from MSG and hydrogenated fats and simply require eight minutes in the oven to be served hot.
