Rockfish is getting ready to open its latest seafood restaurant in Exeter in two weeks time.
Builders have handed over the purpose-built glass structure today for staff training to begin.
It is the sixth site in the Rockfish chain and includes 90 covers inside with an additional 65 outside, both offering views over Exeter quay.
The menu will include fresh fried, char-grilled and oven-roasted seafood as well as a local Bay whiting fillet and Portland pearl oysters, plus a number of new additions that will be rolled out to the other Rockfish restaurants shortly after.
To celebrate the opening and to put its team through its paces, Rockfish is offering 50% off food for bookings from Thursday 14th March through to Sunday 17th March.
Owner Mitch Tonks comments: ”We're really excited to be opening at Exeter on the quayside. Exeter is such a vibrant thriving city, it's got that great mixture of European city style with buzz, art, food and culture whilst also having that great cool vibe of being just a few miles from some of the best beaches in England. Being located by the waterside, we think, makes for a great seafood eating experience and we couldn't be much close to the water in Exeter!"
