Rockfish to open restaurant in Salcombe, Devon

Rockfish is opening a new restaurant in Salcombe, Devon, in spring 2022.

The seafood restaurant chain, which currently operates eight sites across the South West, has submitted planning permission for a 100-seater restaurant and bar overlooking Salcombe estuary.

The waterside location will employ 30-35 people locally and will include a bar featuring hand-crafted drinks from Salcombe Brewery.

Investing £1m in to the new site, owner Mitch Tonks said: “Salcombe is one of the most beautiful places in the country and we’ll be hoping to open in spring next year and look forward to welcoming people on foot, by water and car!

“The restaurant will be open all year round and so we hope adds something really positive for all the local people living in and around the town, as well as to visitors.”
