Spice Technology has launched gluten free versions of its popular Tee-Khi gravy and curry sauce specifically for the fish and chip shop market.
Developed following an increased demand from shops wanting to offer gluten free sides, the gravy and curry sauce mix have been carefully created to ensure they boast the same taste and texture as the gluten containing versions.
Available in 2.5kg containers and in a resealable polythene bag to avoid cross-contamination, the gluten free gravy is a traditional chip shop onion gravy with that extra beefy taste, while the curry sauce is mildly spicy with a fruity flavour. Both are suitable for vegetarians and have an ambient shelf life of two years.
Quick and easy to prepare, friers simply mix any quantity of curry or gravy powder with cold water, bring to the boil and simmer before transferring to a bain marie and serving.
