Tom Kerridge to open fish and chip restaurant at Harrods

Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge is opening a fish and chip restaurant in the iconic Dining Hall at Harrods in London from 11th June.
The 24-seater restaurant (16 throughout covid restrictions) will serve fish and chips priced at £35 alongside a range of seafood sourced from all over Britain.
As well as market day fish, deep fried options will include Cornish brill, lobster, line-caught British squid, hand-dived scallops and Dublin Bay Prawns, all served with chips, Matson curry sauce, tartare sauce and pease pudding - and all gluten free.
Grilled options, meanwhile, will include Dover sole and lobster, served with hand-cut triple cooked chips, topped with either Matson curry sauce, lobster thermidor, Morecambe Bay shrimps or caviar.
Speaking about the opening of Kerridge’s Fish & Chips, Tom Kerridge says: “I am proud to bring my take on the best seafood dishes to the most iconic department store in the world. I really believe that British talent and produce are at the forefront of great cuisine , and that is reflected in our team and the food we serve at Kerridge’s Fish & Chips in Harrods.
“The dishes champion the highest quality ingredients including incredible lobster, oysters and freshly caught fish from some of the best suppliers in Britain and beyond.”
To ensure that there is something for everyone, Tom has partnered with friend and fellow Michelin-starred chef Sat Bains to include his vegan samosas on the menu. To finish, there will also be a range of desserts including Eton mess and bread butter pudding.
Ashley Saxton, head of restaurants for Harrods, says: “Harrods is proud to partner with some of the nation’s leading talent to open restaurant concepts that combine culinary excellence with the exceptional service and sense of occasion that dining at Harrods brings. We are absolutely delighted to welcome acclaimed British chef Tom Kerridge to our historic home in Knightsbridge.
