UK Seafood Summit tackles change in the sector

Places are still available at this month’s UK Seafood Summit 2019 where the theme is The Responsible Seafood Economy: Looking Forward - Responding to Change.

Taking place on 16th and 17th October at Forest Pines Hotel, Broughton, North Lincolnshire, the event is free to attend and provides delegates with an opportunity to listen and join in with debates on subjects ranging from the desire for sustainable products, to the changing nature of seafood sourcing, to innovations in technology and the supply chain.

Speakers include broadcaster Nigel Barden, Seafish chief executive Marcus Coleman, director of sustainability at Direct Seafoods Laky Zervudach, and director of trends for Mintel Simon Moriarty as well as representatives from Whitby Seafoods, Sustainable Fisheries and Norwegian Seafood Council.

Visitors will also be able to network at the Seafood Fayre where a host of seafood suppliers will sample their products.
