A virtual reality

It’s all go behind the scenes as the industry’s first online show for the fish frying and fast food sector gets ready to launch next month. Here’s a taster of what to expect
As the final touches are being put to the stands, literature is being uploaded and video content edited, we’re really excited to be counting down to the industry’s first Fish Frying & Fast Food Online Show.
It’s a huge step change; we’ve been putting on the annual Fish Frying & Fast Food Show at venues across England for the past 15 years. But as technology evolves, so too must the ways we communicate and so we’ve made the move and taken a show online, making it easier than ever to find new products, ideas and engage with your peers.
With cost and time barriers broken down, the Fish Frying & Fast Food Online Show is now accessible to everyone everywhere and therefore we’re expecting to welcome a larger, more mixed crowd than ever before to log on and wander the virtual exhibition hall.
In fact, one shop that has already registered is FishNChips, the first fish and chip shop to open in Lebanon. Owner Fadwa Ghaddar comments: “We opened the shop almost three months ago in Saida and we’re really looking forward to The Fish Frying & Fast Food Online Show as we would like to find out about new ideas or items that we can add to the menu, in particular, appetisers. l’m also hoping to pick up some tips about frying techniques as well as ideas from other countries.”

What to expect At the three day exhibition, you can expect all the same great industry leading suppliers that have been present at previous shows as well as many new companies exhibiting everything from frying ranges and utensils to online ordering systems and batter.
Once logged in and in the exhibition hall, an interactive floor plan will enable you to easily locate exhibitors of your choice or, alternatively, you can use the online search function to find companies showcasing particular services i.e. filtration, frying oils or batter. Once on a stand, you can live chat, ask questions, watch informative videos and demonstrations, book a follow-up appointment and request samples to be sent straight to your shop door.
Navigate out of the exhibition hall and you’re back in the main lobby where you’ll have access to exclusive areas such as a Networking Lounge hosting live seminars, Black Fryday showcasing special offers and discounts tailored for the show, as well as an Education Zone full of information to read, download and take away.
Make sure you register ahead of the event online by clicking here where you can build your profile, find out more about the show and watch a number of short videos explaining how each area of the exhibition will work.
