Zan Fish, which has six fish and chip takeaways across Derby, is opening a seventh outlet serving chargrilled options alongside chip shop favourites.
The site will open later this year on a new housing development on the edge of Derby in the shopping area of Highfields, Littleover.
Featuring a real chargrill, the takeaway plans to introduce brand new charcoal flavours and recipes to the menu alongside traditional fish and chips.
The takeaway will also be offering a dedicated vegan menu as well as healthy Greek salads and grilled authentic kebabs.
A statement on the company’s website calls it an exiting time for Zan Fish, adding: “We wanted to bring the real taste of the Mediterranean to Derby. To do this, we’ve gone back to our family’s traditional roots to create a fresh, delicious and healthy new menu for Zan Fish Grill."
Zan Fish opened its first takeaway in Derby 2011. Its most recent was in Spondon in 2015.
